Crave restaurant at the award winning Coolangatta Hotel has a new menu. After last years incredible success culminating in Crave placing in the top four of all Queensland Hotel restaurants the bar has been raised again. The menu is heavily featured with premium Victorian grain fed aged beef and the freshest wild caught Gold Coast seafood.
Crave has built an enviable reputation over the last twelve months for its steaks but the new seafood dishes are attracting plenty of praise. The Seafood Basket is guaranteed the best on the coast with Morten Bay Bug, salt & pepper squid, king prawns and beer battered fish. The new Thai Seafood Curry and Scallop & Prosciutto Risotto are quickly becoming customer favourites. All of the seafood and steaks are personally inspected by head chef Filipe Wenceslau and Hotel General Manager Natasha Flint to ensure they meet Crave's strict standards.
There is something for everyone on the menu with a range of pastas, chicken dishes, old favourites such as the Lambshank Pie and of course the range of premium steaks and seafood dishes. There is also an extensive range of entrees to start with. Every dish is prepared fresh daily at the hotel and you can taste the difference immediately. There is a lighter lunch menu available seven days a week with most meals around $15 including a 250g premium aged rump served with coleslaw and beer battered fries.
A bar menu is available for all day dining in the bar area, with the bucket of fresh king prawns proving the perfect compliment to an ice cold beer or glass of wine. Monday nights are best value for locals when there is $5 off every steak and pasta on the menu. Traditionally a quiet night Mondays have quickly become popular with the Crave regulars. The menu also features daily specials with the chef trying out exciting new dishes for upcoming menus.
