New Zealand’s favourite musical brothers return to Australia in 2010 for an East Coast tour. Renowned for their mind blowing live shows, thanks to their powerhouse rhythm section and multiple vocalists, Kora have built a solid local fan-base in Australia over the past few years. Ash Grunwald is back with his most adventurous, exciting and accessible album yet; the highly anticipated full length studio release, Fish Out Of Water. The album, sees Ash collaborating with the renowned beats master Countbounce from well-known Australian hip hop outfit, TZU. The end result is a thrilling hybrid of musical styles, infused with beats and grooves, junkyard percussion, scorching riffs and Grunwald’s trademark deep and strong vocal that is bound to impress and delight fans of quality music. The tunes range from swirling, lurching, raucous rocking tracks, to riff driven numbers with a hip hop vibe, a pulsating, grinding “dance track,” a Gospel-style song inspired by the Blind Boys of Alabama and an old school folk ballad. The album positively bristles with optimism, excitement and possibility. .

It's been a long time between drinks for iconic Australian outfit the Cruel Sea, but the legendary group return to play on the Gold Coast in March 2010 The Cruel Sea released their first album in 1989 and continued to record and tour until 2003, by which time they had produced eight albums, most notably the ARIA Award-winning The Honeymoon Is Over and Three Legged Dog, which debuted at number one.

Last here in 2008 for a tour that included appearances at all six Big Days Out, as surprise guest to the Arcade Fire and for their own headline shows, Texan minimalists SPOON return this Autumn having signed up to perform nationally for the GROOVIN' THE MOO experience and for a selection of major city headline shows. The 2010 tour coincides with the release of a brand new album TRANSFERENCE, the follow-up to 2007's much heralded US Top Ten hit GA, GA, GA, GA, GA. Unlike its predecessor though (arguably the band's most polished statement to date) TRANSFERENCE is a stark reminder of the proverb "less is more" and a nod perhaps to the bare bones production style of the band that inspired the Spoon name: krautrock pioneers, Can.
