For the first time in many years Bodyjar and 28 Days are joining forces for a trip around the country. Taking in some of the bands favourite places from throughout their careers this is sure to be part family reunion, but mainly a party not to be missed!!
For nearly 20 years Bodyjar has consolidated their local &international following with relentless touring demonstrating the blistering high energy live shows that have made Bodyjar one of the most respected punk bands in the world. They toured around the world with many of the era’s most revered acts, and appeared on festivals like Warped Tour and Big Day Out in their rise to prominence. Their classic 1998 record “No Touch Red” led to a major label deal, and in 2000 they released the smash hit “How It Works” which was certified Gold, and produced hits “Not The Same” and “Fall To The Ground”.
Best known for hits including “Rip it Up”, “What’s the Deal?” and “Sucker”, 28 Days arrived at a time that the morphing of the punk revival with the nu-metal genre appeared to be a strictly American affair and it’s no exaggeration that 28 Days paved the way for many bands
In a musical landscape where the lifecycle of a band seems to be but a few years, up-and-comers are still citing 28 Days as a massive musical influence.
